I had a panic attack trying to get this picture. I’m horribly afraid of heights. In fact for some reason the inclines in Pittsburgh register to my mind as the biggest offenders. I have no earthly idea why. I’m not scare of flying. I couldn’t actually get the nerve to go onto the overlook, but I think I got a far more unique picture for it.

Travelled up to Beckley for the Beckley Art Group juried exhibition at the Cynthia Bickey Gallery. I didn’t win, but that’s because there were so many damn, sharp pieces there. If you are in the Beckley area (I’m assuming some catapult mishap was involved), check it out. They’ll be there until September 19th.

Had a great time. Some great conversations with friends. And a decent snack spread. I really dug the Robert C Byrd tribute show at the Mountaineer Good News Garage.
